YSD1 Connected as Readers Program
YMS students and teachers may participate in the York School District One Connected as Readers Reading Program. The 12 nominees have a special label on the spine that identifies them as Grade 7-8 nominees. Participants can participate by reading books from the list and completing the reading task that goes with the book. Students who read a book from the list and complete a reading task by the deadline each month will receive a small prize. Students who read all 12 books and complete the reading tasks for those books will be invited to a special celebration at the end of the school year.
