Basketball

YMS has 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams and 7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams.

Tryouts are usually in late October or early November immediately after school. The season typically runs from November through the end of January. Students should listen for announcements made at school or contact the school for specific tryout dates and times.

All students must have completed and be approved on Planet HS in order to tryout. See the main office for information on Planet HS. This includes an updated athletic physical, which is good for the entire school year.

Our goal is to develop our students into quality student-athletes, on the court and off.
