Football

YMS has a 7th grade football team as well as a separate 8th grade football team. Our teams play in the YCMSAC, which is comprised of schools from York, Clover, and Rock Hill. The school provides helmets, shoulder pads, football pants, jerseys, and mouth pieces. Our teams play seven to eight games from August through the end of October. Optional practices are held in June and July, as well as a 1-2 week spring practice in May. Each player must have an athletic physical uploaded to www.planeths.com in order to practice or play. The physical is valid for the entire school year. YMS provides transportation for players to and from games.
