Volleyball

YMS has a 7th grade and 8th grade volleyball team.

Tryouts are typically held at the beginning of the school year in August. Coaches will hold three day tryouts, and the season lasts until October. Practice and matches are held Monday-Friday from August-October, and parents will need to provide transportation after practice and matches. Players will ride the bus to matches.

All girls must have completed physical forms and be approved on Planet HS in order to tryout. See the main office for information on Planet HS. This includes an updated athletic physical, which is good for the entire school year.

Our goal is to develop our young people into quality student-athletes, both on and off the court.
